1. GDPR Definition
Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament (GDPR – General Data Protection Regulation), concerning the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, entered into force on May 25, 2018. With the GDPR, the European legislator has designed a unified regulatory framework for the protection of personal data for all Member States of the European Union.
